Parish Nurse Ministry

SUMC is very fortunate to have Ivie Bowman as our Parish Nurse. As part of her ministry she makes home visits and calls on several of our members. Ivie can also help in other areas such as monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar levels. If you know of anyone that you would like for her to visit, call the church office (770.599.3245) or send us an email and we will make sure that she gets the message. East Coweta Cancer Support Group

The Cancer Support Group of East Coweta meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. The Cancer Support Group is open to anyone who has been touched by cancer in anyway: as a survivor or a care giver, or to those with a passion to help in the field against cancer. If you are one of these people who want to see cancer out of our vocabulary in our lifetime, come to a meeting and meet some great people who share your passion.
